NOEMIX making the public administrations going electric

Noemix is providing the technical, financial and legal support for launching a single tender for 20 public administrations of the region Friuli Venezia Giulia for the appointment of the following services:
– Rent of about 570 electric vehicles all included (maintenance, insurance, winter tyres etc.) and the same number of old pollutant vehicles will be scrapped
– On line fleet management platform
– Installation of the charging infrastructure
In parallel enough photovoltaic power will be installed in order to compensate the energy consumption of the EVs.
The expected primary energy savings amount to about 2,936 GWh, with a reduction of around 1000t of CO2 emissions.
The new service is not just about reducing emissions but it also marks the transition from the traditional fleet management model of a fleet of vehicles owned by the administration in which each single vehicle is assigned to a person or small unit to the mobility as a service paradigm.
The workshop will present the methodology applied to assess the demand of mobility, define the business model and draft the tender. A focus will be paid to the main barriers that had to be overcome to launch the service.
